The reasons you need to head out, grab some nosh and splash some cash

October has come around and while there are plenty of Oktoberfest and Halloween things to go check out, there are also many wholesome, leisurely markets where you can spend good time and money at too. We've rounded up six for you.

Urban Ventures 11 (Oct 6)

Urban Ventures' wildly successful block party/street market is coming back to Temple Street. It's their last blowout of the year, which guarantees an impressive line-up of mouthwatering nosh, drinks vendors, artisanal goodies and crafts alongside the usual outdoor yoga experience and live gigs, featuring Subsonic Eye, Fauxe, Cravism and more.

Farmers Market @ Central Singapore (Oct 7)

In a bid to encourage Singaporeans to enjoy healthier diets and go local with their grocery purchases, this monthly affair gathers a selection of fresh organic products from farm to stall. You don't need a green finger to transform your diet, just the deets of this next farmers market. Expect locally-produced organic honey, vegetables, granola, dips, among other things.
