A hip bottle shop with Singapore's best craft booze selection
Bottle shop Temple Cellars is changing the game of after-work drinking; located on the ground floor of UE Square, the locally opened store is an independent premium liqor store that promises the same honest appreciation of quality alcohol, without the usual faff of planning a night out.
Co-founded by Singaporeans Jasmin Wong, Kasster Soh and Kevin Ngan, the store offers possibly Singapore’s best craft selection of beers, ciders, spirits, sakes and wines, including local labels like Brewlander & Co. and Rye & Pint. Beers here are bottled and chilled for maximum enjoyment, and conveniently packaged to be a quick pick-me-up, any time of the day. If you’re keen on expanding your appreciation of craft liquor, sharing sessions on craft beer, sake and wine run from now till the end of the year at a small fee.
Regulars in the local booze scene will probably recognize the team behind the store—Wong and Soh also manage alcohol distribution business The Mad Tapper and craft beer bar Freehouse; while Ngan runs bars Ah Sam Cold Drink Stall and Good Luck Beerhouse, among others. To really boost local appreciation of craft liqor, sharing sessions on craft beer, sake and wine have also been organized, for a small fee. For an easy alternative to going ham at the bars—or even if you’re just looking for a quick pick-me-up on a weeknight—Temple Cellars is a great option, complete with a wide selection of local and international labels chilled for maximum enjoyment.
