And you thought we were done for the year

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by the recent spate of bubble tea store openings, here’s a friendly heads up: it’s not slowing down just because the year is coming to an end. Joining in on the fun is Chinese tea cafe brand Nayuki, opening this December and refusing to let us end 2018 in peace.

The Shenzhen-born brand, which now has over 100 stores across China, is apparently famed for pioneering the concept of pairing premium fruit teas with soft breads in a cafe. A tall claim, given it only opened in 2015, but because we like bread we’ll let it slide. The Singaporean outlet at VivoCity will be Nayuki’s first overseas outlet—a joint venture with the BreadTalk Group.

In an aesthetically pleasing space, enjoy Nayuki’s signature fruit-based cheese teas and soft, European-style breads. Popular products include the Supreme Cheese Strawberry Tea and Strawberry Fresh Cream Bread; a chocolate variation with Oreo Chocolate Fresh Cream Bread; and an exclusive Alisan Mountain Dew Tea—made with handpicked tea buds roasted for 40 hours to bring out the floral scent.

Nayuki Singapore is set to open on an unspecified date in early December. So far, the brand has seen snaking queues with every outlet launch in China, and given our strange Singaporean fondness for novel bubble tea, we foresee the same thing happening here.

Nayuki Singapore is located at #01-207, VivoCity, and will be open from 10am-10pm. More information here.
