Six Senses Duxton

Six Senses' first city hotel and foray into Singapore

Known for their luxury resorts and spas around the world set in idyllic locations like Maldives and Fiji, the Six Senses brand’s very first city hotel takes over a row of shophouse units formerly occupied by The Duxton Hotel Singapore, refurbished and restored by acclaimed British designer Anouska Hempel.

Using a diverse influence of Chinese, Malay and European elements, she’s given each of the 49 guestrooms and suites a unique individuality across eight themed categories so that no two rooms are exactly the same.

There’s a contemporary fine dining Chinese restaurant named Yellow Pot on the ground floor, as well as an adjacent lobby bar themed after antiquarian libraries. A sister property, Six Senses Maxwell, located a short walk away, is slated to open end-2018 too, and guests from both properties get to share the facilities offered.

In-house guests can even get traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) services by Professor Zhang Mao Ji (from Long Zhong Tang clinic), a physician with over 40 years of experience. Look for him for health screenings and consultations, or get medicinal herbs from his dispensary at the Duxton property.
