A beautiful minimalistic co-working space in the heart of City Hall
A pleasing mix of design-meets-minimalism, co-working space District 6 has opened its oak wood doors, conveniently so in the heart of City Hall. Designed with floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors, the 10,000 sq ft space floods with natural light in the day—for double the productivity, probably. Office decor is kept to a minimum, to allow tenants the freedom to decorate and personalize their space however they want.
Open 24 hours, the work space offers tables that range from flexi desks to dedicated ones, to private studios (for teams of two to four) and private offices (for larger companies with five to 20 people). The amenities available include small meeting rooms and dedicated phone booths, and even an event space that fits 100 snugly. A communal “living room” houses a Kyoto-based specialty coffee bar, with brews and beans sourced by a specialty roaster around Japan—all complimentary to members.
Flex desks start from $250 monthly, with fixed desks at $750. If you want access to the coffee bar and other perks (discounts at Loof rooftop bar, located directly above District 6, for instance), membership starts at $30 for a day pass.
