The buzz: English luxury brand Mulberry, well-loved for its range of leather bags, opens its first-ever flagship boutique in Asia at Mandarin Gallery.

The vibe: Airy, refined and luxe, the roughly 4,000 sq. ft. duplex is sprinkled with natural textures throughout the interiors, including limestone-tiled floors, curved timber screens and wooden shelves, while shiny brass material rims the furnishings to add a touch of glam. The second floor has an intimate, posh feel fit for a celebrity.

The goods: Mulberry fans will be pleased to know that the flagship stocks a full collection of signature and seasonal accessories ($130 upwards), as well as womenswear ($290 upwards) and shoes ($860 upwards). men aren’t left out either:  there is a small homme section of classic briefcases and travel bags ($1,830 upwards). The star bag of the moment is the limited edition Del Rey arm candy ($1,960), created to celebrate the store’s opening as well as the 40th birthday of Club 21.

Why you’ll be back: The space is inviting, service staff are friendly and helpful, and the goods are gorgeous. Plus, with a sleek-looking store front, it’s almost impossible to miss when you walk down Orchard Road.
