Talk about a bender.

[Updated Jul 18] No man's wardrobe is complete without a couple well-crafted ensembles. Here's where to get them.
The Australian label now has nine stores in Singapore including its first suburb store opening in Tampines 1, and there will be a second one opening at JEM in end-Aug. Everything a guy needs for a dapper wardrobe can be found here—shirts, pants, blazers, ties, lapel pins, pocket squares and even polished leather shoes. And if that's not spiffy enough for you, get your suit custom-fitted and spruce it up with finishes like grosgrain ribbon, embroidery and vintage buttons.
Edit Suits Co.
This Singapore-based menswear company launched in Mar 2014 and later expanded into the city of London to offer high quality custom tailoring service combined with an e-commerce site for re-orders. You can book an appointment online for an outfitter to drop by your home or office to take measurements, which would later be updated in your online shopping profile for easy future reference when ordering from their range of shirts and suits online—starting from as low as $80 for a tailored shirt and $599 for a made-to-measure suit. They also bring in fabric from designer names in Italy and the UK, such as Vitale Barberis Canonico, Holland & Sherry, Ermenegildo Zegna or Loro Piana, all upon request.
Kevin Seah Bespoke
What better way to make an entrance than by donning a bespoke suit? Get measured by one of Singapore's finest tailors, Kevin Seah, for a custom suit made to traditional Savile Row standards. Their bespoke shirts also meet the same bar, featuring fine 1/8” French seams, 23 stitches-per-inch stitching and mother of pearl fastenings. All this means you get suits and shirts that—in terms of fit, hang, structure, comfort and the way it moves—is made for you and you alone. Visits here are strictly by appointment only, so plan ahead.
Only the second Suitsupply outpost in Asia (the first is in Shanghai), this 15-year-old Dutch label is well-known in the States for its enormous range of suits that come in a variety of styles, fabrics and cuts but are offered at relatively reasonable prices. Their store here features an in-house tailor right at its entrance, providing their signature while-you-wait alteration service.
Master Tailor Thomas Wong of The Prestigious
This bespoke retail-cum-workshop outlet founded by Master Tailor Thomas Wong opened at Boat Quay earlier in June. They offer a private tailoring service which sees the completion of all commissions in-house, at a workshop within the premises, by skilled tailors personally mentored and supervised by Wong. Their cloth is specially imported from distinguished Italian and Britain textile specialists such as Thomas Mason and Cotonifico Albini, available upon request. Appointments can be made for services after opening hours.
