    Nosh - Country Kitchen

The buzz: Krish at Rochester Park is no more. In its place is a more relaxed bistro offering, five-week-old Nosh, in the same appealing black-and-white colonial house.

The vibe: It wasn’t broke so they haven’t fixed it. The gorgeous al fresco space is still there, so is the charming upstairs dining room, adorned with a kitchen feature wall, complete with pans and culinary utensils galore.

The food: Randy Torres, one of our favorite hot male chefs, is responsible for new creations with appetisers like creole prawns ($16), spiced pork belly($15) and beef tartare ($18) with mains such as their mushroom Risotto($26) and roasted vegetable & sesame salad ($8), alongside more substantial options such as their pan-fried snapper($32).

The drinks: You can head on to their cafe-bar, Noshery located in the same bungalow for an open beer garden with  their bottled beer and ciders offered like the carlton pure blonde ($12), bulmers  magners original ($13) and draught beer like nitachino nest white ale ($16 for a pint) along with wine like san't elena,2013 ($14 per glass).

Why you’ll be back: It’s a fab date spot, even if you have to drag your mom along.

Eat this at Nosh: Maryland crab cakes. It's one of I-S Magazine's 50 things to eat in Singapore before you die (2012).

Events Happening at Nosh
Offerings like the Nosh Omelette ($16), which is filled with pork confit, sautéed mushrooms and truffle aioli, and the spiced lamb bowl ($22) provide a hearty start to the day.
