The Garage joins the other establishments at Singapore Botanic Gardens.
Joining the other dining establishments like Halia and Michelin-starred Cornerhouse at Singapore Botanic Gardens is The Garage, which now occupies the space that was once a "stable for cars" in the 1920s. This establishment is separated into two floors—Bee’s Knees and Botanico—and adopts a minimalist design, with touches of white, black and yellow green on their decor.
Bee’s Knees (on the ground level) is a casual, pet- and kid-friendly brunch spot, serving eggs, waffles, pizza, pasta and an extensive selection of sandwiches and salads. The slightly more serious Botanico, with Una’s chef Antonio Oviedo at the helm, is a Spanish-leaning bistro, serving dishes like grilled carabinero with saffron rice and pork trotter terrine ($28); lamb tartare with mustard ice-cream and pickled onion ($20); and Spanish mackerel with Brussels sprouts and grilled kumquat ($28). Inspired by elements of nature, look forward to desserts like warm chocolate with ginger ice-cream and Hibiscus and brownie croutons.
Botanico also houses a bar, where signature cocktails such as Garage Gin’Onic ($16), blackberry lychee mojito ($14), and thyme lemonade ($16) are concocted by Ruzaini Hashim. They also offer champagne, red and white wine from France, Italy, Australia, New Zealand and Europe from $14 per glass.
