Singapore restaurant REVIEW:

  • Anthesis
  • Anthesis

Decked out with light wood furnishings and unfinished metal chairs, this laid back cafe offers a prime view of the river. It offers a simple menu with items like tuna tataki sandwich ($14) and pizzas such as pepperoni ($20), as well as coffee (from $4), tea (from $6) and beer (from $14) to wash it all down. Besides that, there’s fresh bread—think baguette ($2.80), garlic focaccia ($5.20) and light rye ($5.20)—available for takeaway.
