The Quay Kitchen & Bar
There's a new brunch and craft beer place at Robertson Quay
Nestled along the bar and restaurant enclave at Robertson Quay, this brunch-y, all-day dining American restaurant and bar is decked out with semi-industrial interiors like high ceilings and concrete flooring, simple wooden furniture and black steel chairs.
The menu has some interesting curve balls. Brunch staples include muesli and fruit salads ($10) but for something different, try the Indian croissant ($16) featuring chicken, pesto, Indian pancake, tomato, cheese and the 86 Burger ($20), with Angus beef, bacon, tomato, gruyere, salad and fries. They're also doing egg specials like The Scrambly ($18), soft scrambled eggs with Asian-cured trout, as well as the Beni ($18), poached eggs with caramelized corn, pickled onions, chicken and fundido. Apart from the usual mains like sandwiches, pizza and burgers ($16-$20), there's the comforting tom yam spaghetti ($24) and the unusual Balinese skate wings (stingray with lemon-infused Bali chilli, $20).
Drinks-wise, they've got a pretty extensive menu featuring a selection of gin, wine, whisky, tequila and liquers ($10-$65) but the lure here is their craft beer ($15-$25) featuring breweries from across the world like Lost Coast & Kona (USA), Baird (Japan), Bruges (Belgium), Brew Dog (Scotland) and Bridge Road (Australia).
