This mysterious and intimate joint down on the fringes of Orchard Road (more specifically, Mount Elizabeth) is the brainchild of Hasnor Sidik and Potato Head Folk's creative director Earn Chen. Cherry Discotheque stays true to their underground DNA (beneath York Hotel) and will stick to quality hip hop music for a discerning crowd.

The founders have taken visual cues from the space itself, which takes after typical architectural designs of the 80s. The moment you walk in, you'll be greeted by striking neon signs and super old school arcade games (there's Pacman and and Street Fighter) at the entrance before turning into the chic, industrial club. However, what sets Cherry apart from other clubs is its distinct retro future vibe and grittiness. Throughout the night, expect nostalgic floor-to-ceiling VHS style visual projections on the wall behind the DJ console as you dance on the black-and-white checkered dancefloor as the resident DJs Drem and Rattle drop tunes from the likes of Flosstradamus, Kendrick Lamar, RL Grime, Childish Gambino and more.
