If you enjoy both the decadence of supper clubs and the spectacle of theater, here’s your chance to have your cake and eat it too at this ostensibly outrageous supper dining affair that's promising immersive entertainment, intoxicating drinks and fine food in one complete package.

Diva to the Death, as it’s called, will be held at the jazzy Monti At 1- Pavilion over 18 late-night showings from Feb 2-Mar 2, 2018. The basic premise of the 105-minutes self-styled sexy comic romp takes place amidst the clash of two very different music cultures—jazz and getai. Expect a mix of raunchy frolicking and comedic shenanigans onstage as you, the dining audience, get to have a say in how the plot will unfold. Don’t be surprised if you're asked to put down your cutleries for a moment and join in the theatrics.

The course menu itself is a mix of Italian and Singaporean fusion fare like chili crab kueh pie tee, laksa risotto and gula melaka panna cotta. It also comes with two Hendrick’s Gin-based cocktails. When the curtains fall, that’s when the after-party starts. From 11:30pm till late, only on weekend stagings, show-goers can stay on as Monti transforms into a 1920s themed jazz and hip hop club.

You can bet it'll be a good show, as behind this rambunctious act are familiar names in the theatrical and nightlife scene, including the likes of celebrated music composer Elaine Chan; multi-talented playwright Jonathan Lim; versatile actress Audrey Luo; and co-founder of the now defunct The Butter Factory, Celeste Chong, who currently juggles her time between leading marketing efforts at co-working space The Great Room and managing Bite Me Productions—the lifestyle events company responsible for putting together Diva to the Death.

Tickets ($155 Sun-Thu, $185 Fri-Sat) go on sale starting Nov 14, 2017, inclusive of show, course menu with drinks and access to the after-party on weekends. Shows take place promptly at 9.30pm on all nights. More info here.
