If you don’t have the time to spare for an overseas jaunt or wish to be spared the security hassle at the airports, staycations are your best bet.

Head for a staycay at The Westin Singapore to break away from the mundane routine of the weekends, where its proximity to the city will allow you to discover a new side to the hectic urban life.

The breathtaking views of Singapore’s city skyline as dusk falls will set the mood for a romantic or chill night in. The Westin Singapore sits on levels 32 to 46 of the Marina Bay area, which means that no matter which room you get, you will feel like you’re on top of the world.

Another must-do during staycays is to soak in some sun by a pool. The Westin Singapore’s infinity pool gives you a stunning view of the city’s south coast on a clear day, and is oh-so-coincidentally perfect for a ‘chill weekend vibes’ shot for the ‘Gram. The pool is also a quiet respite from the bustle of the city.

Take this chance to explore the lively café scene a couple of streets away. The neighboring Tanjong Pagar and Telok Ayer areas house countless cafes, bars and restaurants spanning cuisines from all over the world. Stroll around the streets and who knows, you might stumble across a hidden gem.

Nearby Crackerjack, which serves up everything from brunch to cocktails, and poke bowls to satisfy your sashimi cravings, is a particularly good spot. If you’re up for an adventure, try finding the obscure Burger Joint on Amoy Street’s Gemmil Lane, which serves up good ol’ New York style burgers and craft beers. Take note: the entrance to Burger Joint is marked with only a neon sign of a burger. Plus, forget about pricey cab rides home, as The Westin Singapore is just a short stroll away.

If you don’t intend on stepping one foot out of the hotel, there are several F&B outlets (bar included) within the hotel that can satisfy any of your hunger pangs.

There are lunch and dinner buffets to be had at Seasonal Tastes, seafood with Champagne afternoon tea to indulge in at their Lobby Lounge, and a crowd favorite, Cook & Brew—a cozy gastrobar with breathtaking views of the city, delicious food and cocktails, as well as an amazing FRIYAY night (every Friday, 5pm-1am) where drink promos and live band performances await.

Then retreat back into your room after to rest and recharge. All the rooms at The Westin Singapore come with their signature Heavenly Bed, designed to induce a better sleep at night. Even the bath soaps are infused with White Tea that leaves a lingering crisp aroma to further soothe your frazzled nerves.

Weekends are for staying up late and not setting alarms. So go ahead and sleep in without worrying about missing breakfast because The Westin Singapore extends breakfast hours till 3pm all weekend long. Do give their SuperFoodsRx dishes at the breakfast spread a try as they are packed full of nutrients to kick start your day with an energy boost.

Late checkout on Sundays also gives you more time to make full use of the hotel amenities. You can even squeeze in a quick gym session at the Westin WORKOUT fitness studio before you check out. You don’t have to pack extra gym clothes because the New Balance Gear Lending program has you covered.

If you prefer to run outside, choose from two RunWESTIN running routes that’ll take you through the CBD area for a change of scenery from your usual runs. You’ll find that Raffles Place takes on a quieter, inviting demeanor on the weekends.

A staycation in the city has never seemed more enticing and you can start planning yours here.
