Local heritage hotel chain Santa Grand has opened its fifth hotel—in the trendy cultural district of Boat Quay. Joining its other outlets in Bugis, East Coast, West Coast and Little India, the hotel is located in the heart of the Civic District, a stone’s throw from the Singapore River Precinct.

Location is certainly prime, for both travellers in town for business, and locals looking for a cozy boutique hotel staycation. Paying homage to the rows of colorful vintage shophouses for which Boat Quay is most recognized for, the newest outlet is designed to the theme "Early Settlement"—a nod to 19th century shophouse architecture.

The hotel stands at six stories, and houses 41 rooms that include Standard, Superior and Deluxe rooms. As each Santa Grand Hotel is uniquely designed to reflect the culture and history of its location, expect to see classic oriental decor in the rooms—with a modern twist.

Opening promotion rates start at $180 per room and can be booked here

Santa Grand Hotel Boat Quay is located at 57 South Bridge Road, Singapore 058688
