Our inner foodies are always on the hunt for good food. We may have a multitude of apps and blogs that we religiously use to get the lowdown on the latest hotspots, but thanks to our inner kiasu-ness, we hate to miss anything. Thankfully, there’s everything we could ever need on our fingertips all on one site—The Dining Advisor. Here’s how you can make full use of the site.

For foodies, by foodies
The Dining Advisor doesn’t just rely on one person’s taste, which can be subjective, but a panel of Singapore’s top foodies, some of whom are well-known chefs themselves. You no longer have to visit individual blogs for reviews. Also, who would know more about food than chefs?

The panel of reviewers continually changes every couple of months, so you’ll get to hear from different foodies all the time. For the very first panel lineup, local dining heavyweight LadyIronChef, DJ personality and full-time food lover Rozz Lee, Singapore’s first MasterChef Woo Wai Leong, and classically trained pastry chef and food writer Sihan Lee will be dishing out their honest opinions on the cuisines they try.

Coming up next are the likes of Executive Chef of Flutes Restaurant Peter Rollinson and food writer Victoria Cheng, so be sure to check out The Dining Advisor regularly for the latest.

How well do you know your food?
Many of us don’t think further about food than what is presented to us on the plate. Besides the usual top 10 listicles, The Dining Advisor also features guides from chefs for you to learn more about the journey from the kitchen to your plate (and eventually onto your Instagram).

There are even guides to answer all your foodie queries, like how much effort restaurants put into food plating, the lowdown on the many different steak cuts and a whole series of content on unconventional food pairings with whiskey and other alcoholic beverages.

Easy on the eyes, gentle on the taste buds
The struggle to decide between an Instagrammable dish and a delicious one is real. Not all menus come with photos, which is why The Dining Advisor reviews have a section dedicated to the most photogenic dish for every single restaurant. No more regrets for the shutterbugs when your orders arrive.

Discounts, discounts, discounts
Delicious food is great, but yummy food that has great value for money is even better. Not only does The Dining Advisor recommend the best joints in town, they even offer discounts and special deals. From 10% off your bills to the largest collection of 1-for-1 dining deals that’s on right now in Singapore, you’ll be able to enjoy your food at a fraction of the price, as long as you are a UOB Cardmember.

The money you’ve saved from the special deals can probably get you another dessert or coffee at that cool café round the corner. Everyone wins!

Take your foodie adventure to new heights with The Dining Advisor and UOB Cards. The Dining Advisor serves up reviews and guides, plus exclusive dining deals for UOB Cardmembers.
